Working YouTube Proxy
It's back... kind of.For anyone that remembers, YouTube was blocked in late March and, sadly, shows no sign of returning. Luckily, a friend linked me a working proxy for the site: http://www.ensa.info/. Usually proxies can’t stream videos but this site uses their own player. It’s not perfect, and there are spasms of pop-ups, but it’s something.
June 2, 2009 – EDIT: This proxy is now blocked, but http://www.allunblocker.com still works.

I have something to say on YouTube.China is not the only country blocking YouTube. In Thailand,YouTube accessed to videos which insult the king of the country. And in Pakistan, authorities blocked YouTube, saying it was hosting videos offensive to Islam. It was also blocked in Morocco,Syria,Turkey and United Arab Emirates.YouTube hurt people’s emotion in these countries,I think we have the right and we should show our anger.
A good piece of news should be exciting and surprising enough, then it can draw people’s attention. Many medias in western countries just make use of the ignorance of people inside their country, make use of their misunderstanding and curiosity of the countries which are from them and have different cultures from them. Then they can draw people’s attention and increase the Clicks Ratio of their web.
When my German Teacher was a diplomat working in Germany,he argued with a famous writer working for der Spiegel, which is one of the most influncial magazines in the world. He introduced China to German people in an extrem way.And my teacher said some parts of his articles were not true, they were exaggerated. And the writers response was so surprising:”If I dont write in this way ,no one will read my article,no one will buy this magazine.”Is this the common professional morality of western media people? They just run after profit but not responsible.
